Hotel Museumzicht - Amsterdam

I was highly disappointed with my stay. The shower was unbelievably grubby, and the steep stairs seemed like a treacherous climb every time. As if that wasn't enough, i expected a complimentary gesture for enduring such discomfort, but received nothing! Almost wrote a good review, but this was just too much!

Really enjoyed our 2 nights here. There was plentiful breakfasts with a boiled egg and also ham. Actually the room was nicely decorated with great views and fan, for example. The staff was really friendly and super-friendly during our whole stay. The location was magnificent close to a museum and a gallery.

Very welcoming and consistently courteous staff and everything was perfectly fine. Booked a single room, that included central heating, a sitting area, and a writing table...

I found some epic local eats nearby, like the Srikandi for mouth-watering Indonesian dishes, and you can't miss the flavor-packed, locally caught fish at the Rijksmuseum Cafe. Breakfast was filled with good views that set the perfect tone for my days exploring the city.

The hotel was a bit noisy. I struggled to catch some z's with trams passing right outside. The steep stairs were quite the adventure, but not great for hauling luggage-maybe a heads-up could help.

i stayed here for 2 days and would happily return. everything was perfectly fine, incredible location right by the rijksmuseum tram stop, the staff were pleasant. the room was very fairly good, exceptionally comfortable bed.
